Thanks to an idea from Hilary Gooding, the theme for the 2014 tombola was "Hearts".  We all love hearts and thus the title of the web site and the catchy logo was conceived.  From its early embryonic stages as a heart,  it has taken wings now and has launched itself as a host of projects for you to make  - whether you wish to use your own patterns or make up one of ours on the Tutorials page is your choice.
